Thanks for the great site. I’ve tried most of the above, but I have found that goal-buddy.com offers the most complete and effective goal-setting and goal management system out there, whether for profit (I’ve bought several) or for free.

Goal-buddy is absolutely FREE. It is an on-line system, but you can make your goal achievement as private as you want. It rewards you with points if you keep your goals met and deducts points if you fail. There are very real rewards that you can buy with your points. It allows you to work with goal-buddies (if you can find one who connects with you) and provides reminders if you miss your daily objective.

It is just awesome. If this won’t help you get beyond your stumbling blocks, I can’t imagine that anything will.

I think the goal setting software which gives you access to a community of other users to be accountable to is the best solution.

Are you aware of portable Goal setting programs which I can carry on a memory stick (to work etc.) rather than having them online or fixed on one computer?

Apart from that I think MyLifeOrganised has got a free basic version (but not portable?)
